Apple iBook Models
Within the iBook family there are 3 distinct models that each have their own specific architectures. Our exclusive premium certified HyperVelocity modules deliver the highest possible performance you can get for your iBook. Please select your specific model in order to choose the correct memory modules.
Whenever applicable, Mac RAM Direct will spec upgrades in the form of modules capable of faster speeds than originally supplied. Remember, faster RAM is like Premium gasoline where even if your car uses 87 octane Regular, she'll purr like a kitten with the higher octane juice. The same holds true for RAM. Enjoy!

iBook G4
All G4 Models 800MHz & Faster
The New 12" and 14" screen G4 DDR iBook models have one memory expansion slot. Special Apple spec 200 pin DDR SODIMMs are required. We ONLY supply the Faster PC2700 / DDR333 modules for ALL iBook models for maximum possible performance. The G4 iBooks come with 256MB (128MB Early) (512MB Latest) soldered internally. A total of 1.25GB or 1.5GB (depending if your internal memory is 256MB or 512MB) is possible via one a 1GB SODIMM plus the internal memory. (128MB internal for the early 800-933MHz models)

G3 White iBook
500-900MHz
The White G3 iBook 12" and 14" screen models have one memory expansion slot. Special Apple spec 144 pin PC133 SODIMMs are required. These G3 "IceBooks" come with 128MB soldered internally. A total maximum of 640MB is possible via one 512MB SODIMM added to the internal 128MB

Original G3 iBook
300-466MHz Models
The Original groundbreaking iBook models have one memory expansion slot. Special Apple spec 144 pin PC133 SODIMMs are required. These original iBook models have either 32MB or 64MB of internal soldered in RAM and can accept up to a total of 288MB (320MB on later models with 64MB internal RAM) via one special 256MB PC133 SODIMMs.
